Players bid counter-clockwise based on their initial 4 cards. The highest bidder commits their team to earn that score and selects the secret Trump card.
Trump Suit & Reveal
Trump is hidden face-down. When a player cannot follow the lead suit, they can ask to reveal the trump. The trump card flips over and trumps win the trick!
Pair / Royalty (+4 / -4)
Holding King and Queen of the trump suit allows a player to claim Royalty. This reduces the bidder's target by 4 or penalizes them by 4 if held by defenders!

Jacks are worth 3 points each (4 × 3 = 12), Nines are worth 2 points each (4 × 2 = 8), Aces are worth 1 point each (4 × 1 = 4), and Tens are worth 1 point each (4 × 1 = 4). The 32 cards sum to 28 points, and winning the final trick awards 1 extra point, making the grand total exactly 29 points.
